  • All types of papers must not exceed 15 pages in the CEUR format, 1-column format. An offline version with the style files is available from http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip.
  • Papers should be submitted in PDF format through the conference management system via https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=poem2024. Choose the track according to the PoEM workshop you aim to submit.
  • The submitted papers must be unpublished and must not be under review elsewhere.
  • The papers accepted for the PoEM 2024 Forum will be sent for consideration at CEUR. The publication of the Workshop papers is organized as pre-conference proceedings.

Models4Simulation

This workshop aims to explore the current state and readiness of modeling and models for use in digital twin-based simulation. Digital twins are advanced systems that combine model- and data-driven approaches to simulate and optimize cyber-physical and socioeconomic systems and processes. The workshop’s primary goal is to provide insights into current practices and utilization of system and software models for simulation. It further intends to address the existing limitations and flaws in the usage of these models for simulations based on digital twins. In the end, the workshop outlines the main areas of study that need to be addressed in the near future to ensure that system and software models are suitable for simulations of cyber-physical and socioeconomic systems and processes based on digital twins.

Advancing Enterprise Modelling through Digital Transformation, FAIR Data Management, and Blockchain Integration

This workshop examines cutting-edge methods in enterprise modeling, concentrating on digital transformation, FAIR data management, and blockchain integration. The workshop participants will engage in conversations and activities to improve their knowledge of these essential notions and their applications, such as when to do the best practices of enterprise modeling better with the assisting of novel strategies along with tools like FAIR principles of data management and also with the privacy perspectives of these enterprise applications using blockchains. By exploring the convergence of these issues, this exciting workshop seeks to equip attendees with actionable understanding and processes to push innovation and efficiency in enterprise environments. Join us to delve into the destiny of enterprise modeling and its functional implications for your organization.

FACETE

The International Workshop on the Foundations and Applications of Capabilities in Enterprises, and Transformations and ESG Initiatives seeks to bridge the gap between the theory and practice of capability mapping, a pivotal tool in Enterprise Architecture and transformations. The workshop aims to consolidate divergent perspectives on the scientific foundations of capability mapping, including its ontology, meta-models, and notations, and seeks empirical studies into its practical applications, notably in strategic and digital transformations and ESG initiatives. Accepted contributions will be the basis for active, discussion-oriented sessions, fostering collaborative research and constructive discourse. The workshop’s ultimate goal is to strengthen the academic underpinning of capability mapping and broaden its practical applications. In order to realize this, the workshop will extend the call for contributions towards practitioners. With a keen focus on open discussions and practical presentations, it aims to foster a vibrant community committed to defining, understanding, and applying capability mapping in various contexts.
